It is possible to place a complaint about an interactive advertising message or campaign, contractual aspects of a B2C commercial transaction processed, through the Internet or other distance electronic media that might be considered as an alleged infringement of the rules of “CONFIANZA ONLINE’s Ethical Code”.
- Any individual or corporate person with the condition of consumer that has traded goods or signed up services through a distance electronic media of communication is allowed to place a complaint for an alleged infringement of the rules of the “CONFIANZA ONLINE’s Ethical Code”.
The complaint may be submitted against any natural or corporate person that has permanent establishment in the Spanish or Andorran territory, even if it is not adhered to the self-regulatory system.

- Any individual or corporate person, company or business association or professional as well as individual consumers, consumer association, Public Administrations or any third party with a legitimate interest are allowed to place a complaint for an alleged infringement of the rules of communications and minor protection (including those that may occur between firms and related to data protection as they relate to these areas).
- The complaint may be placed against the advertiser or the responsible of the website, as it is an individual or corporate person with a permanent establishment in Spain or Andorra, or which has been adhered to the self-regulatory system.

The complaint procedure is completely free of charge for the claimants. Nevertheless, owing to the voluntary nature of the self-regulatory system, CONFIANZA ONLINE’s Technical Secretariat must refrain from dealing with a complaint on the assumption that the claimant has filed a complaint or a lawsuit or has remitted the complaint to the statutory authority.
